Who can attend the Gala?

All homeschool students 13+ are invited to the Gala.  Public school students may come as a guest of a HS student.  Parents and Grandparents are welcome as well.

What are the policies of decorum?

All participants are expected to behave in a conservative manner, respectful of Christian values.

Will there be food?

Yes!  What's a party without food!!  We design our menu around our theme.  There will be a buffet with a variety of food, dessert, iced tea, lemonade,  and water.

What kind of dancing will we do?

We have Caller who will orchestrate the dancing for the evening.  Everyone is encouraged to particpate-- even if you've never danced before.  Each dance will be taught and practiced several times.  See the video section for a glimpse.  Comfortable shoes are a must!

Can I really wear tennis shoes?

You actually can.  Because of the intensity of our dancing, tennis shoes/comfortable shoes are strongly recommended.

What defines a "guest"?

A "guest" is a non-homeschool teenager.  All guests are required to pay the registration fee.  Please be sure your guest is aware of our dress code and policies of decorum (see above).

What defines "family"?

Family includes parents and siblings.  In order to accommodate large families, we have an $100 cap for families.  This does not include "guests" if your family has already maxed out the limit.  For instance, if you have 6 people in your immediate family, the price is $100 (instead of $150).  If you have an extra-large family and want to include extra to help us cover our costs, we much appreciate that.  Our goal is to not limit families attending due to cost. However, if you have several guests beyond your immediate family attending, they will each need to pay the $25 fee.
